The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers, educators and practitioners to continue to discuss, identify, encourage and expand the research used by professional and trade associations to clearly demonstrate the benefits of horticulture in wellness and quality of life. This research facilitates the expansion of programs in diverse areas from urban planning to healthcare.
The Virtual Tours is an AHTA-sponsored event. As such, the designation of “Horticultural Therapy” meets the AHTA Definitions and Positions. In addition to horticultural therapy programs, AHTA welcomes programs that use plants, gardens, and nature as a therapeutic modality to submit a video.
Presenters will be selected from videos submitted in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) by a peer review panel. Please submit your video and all information requested by June 30, 2021 to firstname.lastname@example.org subject title: Tours
